NDA government committed to implementing SC categorisation, says Telangana BJP chief Kishan Reddy
Monday, 13 November 2023 TelanganaBJP chief Kishan Reddy has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to set up a committee for empowering 'Madigas' is not for the upcoming assembly polls, but reflects the NDA government's commitment to categorisation of Scheduled Castes. Reddy claimed that the previous Congress government had ignored the issue and put the Justice Usha Mehra commission's report on SC categorisation on hold.
On Monday, May 13, the Hyderabad constituency is one of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana that will be subject to polling in the fourth phase of the elections.
