CRA violation, anti-development funding suspected: Legal Rights Protection Forum
The Legal Rights Protection Forum has written to the Chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, urging them to request the Enforcement Directorate to register a case against the Tuticorin Diocesan Association. The NGO has allegedly continued to receive funds from foreign players despite the suspension and cancellation of its FCRA registration. The group also called for a detailed investigation to determine whether the NGO has the right to function as a registered society.
