Kerala man held for Mumbai airport blast mail, needed funds to recoup share market loss

A man from Thiruvananthapuram, Febin Shahjahan, was arrested in connection with a terror threat e-mail received at Mumbai Airport. Officials revealed that Shahjahan, a business administration graduate, sent the e-mail demanding one million dollars in Bitcoin. The e-mail was traced to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and the accused was apprehended there. The airport authorities had alerted the Anti-Terrorism Squad and a case was registered. This incident follows a similar case where a salesman was arrested for selling a SIM card used in a bomb threat call to the Mumbai airport.
