A roadmap to 'greener future': India mandates bio-gas blending, propelling sustainable energy

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has declared mandatory blending of Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) in the CNG and PNG segments of the City Gas Distribution sector. This move towards sustainable energy practices aims to revolutionize the usage and adoption of CBG, contributing to import substitution for LNG and achieving a circular economy. The Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas emphasized the pivotal role of this blending obligation in stimulating CBG demand, saving Forex.
