Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan discussed the difficult time during the country's civil war, comparing it to the situation in Palestine. He highlighted the challenges faced by all Sri Lankans, regardless of religion or race. Muralitharan also spoke about the terrorist attack on the Lankan cricket team in Pakistan, emphasizing their exposure to such attacks in Sri Lanka. He mentioned the lack of security provided to the team during the attack and how they managed to escape with the help of the bus driver. Additionally, Muralitharan praised Anil Kumble as a better bowler and acknowledged the difficulty of breaking his record due to the decrease in the number of test matches played.
