Mizoram assembly polls: ZPM ahead of MNF in early trends

Initial trends show the Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) ahead of the ruling MNF in the assembly elections in Mizoram. ZPM is leading in 11 seats, while MNF is leading in six seats. The Election Commission website shows ZPM leading in one seat and BJP leading in one. The counting of votes for the 40 assembly seats began at 8 am in 13 centres across the state. The ZPM is leading in two seats and MNF in one, according to PTI correspondents.
