Retribution, grudge behind killing of Karni outfit chief?
Sunday, 10 December 2023 The assassination of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi seems to be fueled by the resentments of the Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate. Gogamedi was accused of abandoning protests against the encounter of gangster Anandpal Singh and allegedly misusing the funds collected in his name. The syndicate's grudge was further fueled by the proximity of Rohit Godara, Bishnoi's associate, to Anandpal's daughter. The caste angle to the killing has been dismissed by officials.
Gunshots were fired outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's Mumbai home early morning, prompting police investigation. The incident follows a threat from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who listed Khan as a target due to a past legal case. Mumbai Police upgraded Khan's security status following prior threats.
