Mahadev case accused Uppal held in Dubai, may be deported soon
Dubai Police arrest Ravi Uppal, one of the prime accused in the Mahadev Book online betting syndicate, and may extradite him to India. The arrest was made in response to a Red Corner notice issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Dubai authorities are willing to deport Uppal, who is wanted for money laundering. Sourabh Chandrakar, the other promoter and mastermind of the illegal betting syndicate, is also likely to be arrested soon and handed over to India. Red Corner notices were issued against Uppal and Chandrakar in October.
