Don't beat us, we are here only to protest, intruders told MPs
Rashtriya Loktantrik Party MP Hanuman Beniwal alleged that two youths jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber and a woman encouraged them while a fourth person eluded the marshals. Beniwal mentioned that around 150 MPs were present during the incident and the intruders claimed they were protesting but did not specify the reason. Congress MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla confronted the intruders and threw out the smoke canister. Karti Chidambaram expressed concerns over the inadequate frisking protocol and security equipment in Parliament due to a shortage of staff and the large number of visitors.
