Parliament security breach: Curveball hits Mysuru MP Pratap Simmha eyeing a hat-trick in upcoming Lok Sabha polls

Extreme-right ideologue Pratap Simmha, a Kannada columnist-turned-politician, finds himself on the backfoot as one of the Parliament intruders caught had a visitor's pass issued by Simmha's BJP office. Simmha, a Mysuru MP, holds a postgraduate degree in mass communication and journalism, known for his prolific writing. He won the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019, hoping for a hat-trick in 2024. However, the recent security breach in Parliament might affect his chances. Simmha is known for his attacks on Tipu Sultan and protests against celebrations of Tipu Jayanti.
