BJP President JP Nadda condemned the Opposition for mimicking Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and compared them to 'jokers'. Two more Lok Sabha MPs were suspended for misconduct. A total of 143 MPs have been suspended so far for disrupting proceedings. Nadda criticized Rahul Gandhi for filming the mimicry incident and questioned his commitment to the OBC agenda. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar received a phone call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his pain over the theatrics in the Parliament, which Dhankhar called 'unfortunate'.
