PM Modi raises concern over anti-India groups misusing free speech to target country
In the interview with Financial Times, PM Modi also spoke about India’s concern over the activities of anti-India groups which have taken shelter in the West, and have used the cover of liberal free speech regimes to carry out their activities.He said India was “deeply concerned about the activities of certain extremist groups based overseas”, adding, “These elements, under the guise of freedom of expression, have engaged in intimidation and incited violence.” India has repeatedly raised the issue of Khalistani violence aimed at Indian nationals.
