No order from brass on AAP tie-up: Punjab Congress chief

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 20 December 2023
Dismissing talks of alliance with the AAP in Punjab for the Lok Sabha elections, state Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring Wednesday said he had received no such communication from the high command. He emphasised that the party’s state unit had been instructed to prepare for all 13 parliamentary seats. The opposition INDIA bloc convened a meeting in New Delhi on December 19, but there was no decision regarding seat-sharing. Punjab Congress has been resisting a tie-up with the AAP for the elections, but of late, there have been confusing signals from the party.
