Farmer body to convene all-India convention on MSP, other issues in January

Sanyukt Kisan Morcha plans an all-India farmer convention in Punjab in January 2024 to announce an action plan for achieving demands including MSP guarantee, debt waiver, stopping electricity privatization, and dismissal of Union minister Ajay Mishra. The convention will discuss alternative development policies, unity of farmers and workers, and express solidarity with wrestler Sakshi Malik protesting against the election of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's aide as WFI chief. SKM leaders condemn the mass suspension of opposition members from Parliament.
