Samyukta Kisan Morcha to hold 15 more farmers' conclave ahead of Feb 26 'Delhi Chalo'

Farmers' outfit Samyukta Kisan Morcha has called for "Delhi Chalo" on February 26 and plans to organize 15 more "Kisan Mahapanchayats" across the country. The leaders emphasized the importance of protecting democratic and secular values and criticized the government's suspension of opposition members and alleged mistreatment of Olympian Wrestlers. The demands for "Delhi Chalo" include guaranteed MSP, debt waiver for farmers, withdrawal of state government's land acquisition laws, increased import duty on agricultural products, and banning of FDI in agriculture and retail.
