Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Jai Ram Thakur praised former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his commitment to good governance. Thakur highlighted that the Modi government is following Vajpayee's path to ensure service, good governance, and welfare. Thakur participated in the 'Good Governance Day' programme in Shimla to celebrate Vajpayee's birth anniversary. He paid tribute to Vajpayee and distributed fruits to patients at Shimla's Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. Thakur emphasized the establishment of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes under Vajpayee's government.
