Monday, 25 December 2023 Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar's letter to him "unfortunately justified the autocratic and arrogant attitude of the government towards Parliament has criticized the government's autocratic attitude towards Parliament. Kharge accused the ruling party of weaponizing suspension of opposition MPs to undermine democracy.
