Ship attacked by drone near India: Navy recovers remnants of projectile
On-site analysis and forensics suggest that MV Chem Pluto was attacked by a drone in the Arabian Sea near India's coast. The explosive charge on the drone caused extensive damage above the waterline. Remnants of projectiles have been collected for forensic analysis. The Chief of Naval Staff has been briefed on the initial analysis by the probe team. Earlier in the day, defence minister Rajnath Singh vowed to ferret out the perpetrators of the attacks on merchant navy ships even from the "depths of the seas" and take tough action against them.
