Tuesday, 26 December 2023 Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal YouTube channel has crossed the 20 million (2 crore) mark in terms of the number of subscribers, making Modi the first world leader to achieve the distinction. Officials noted that the videos posted on Modi’s channel have more than 4.5 billion (450 crore) views, far ahead of other global leaders. Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is second on the list with number of subscriber 6.4 million (64 lakh)— less than a third of Modi’s.
