Former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi claimed Nitish Kumar was in touch with BJP leadership and could return to the NDA fold. Nitish objected to a proposal to make Tejashwi Yadav the CM, resulting in a change of guard in JD(U). Nitish now has assurance of support from BJP if JD(U) legislators desert the party.
