Madras HC dismisses divorce plea, says wife was saved by 'act of God'

The Madras High Court upholds a family court order dismissing a man's plea for dissolution of marriage. The court states that the removal of the wife's uterus due to ovarian cancer cannot be a ground for dissolution. The man had claimed that his wife suppressed her cancer prior to marriage. However, the court finds no evidence of suppression. The appeal is dismissed.
