Ahead of polls, BJP candidate takes oath as minister in Rajasthan

Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma formed his cabinet with 22 ministers taking the oath of office at Raj Bhavan in Jaipur. The notable inclusions are Sawai Madhopur MLA Kirori Lal Meena, Jhotwara MLA Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, and Surendra Pal Singh TT, the BJP candidate for Karanpur assembly seat. There is criticism from Congress for violating the model code of conduct. The state's council of ministers now has 25 members and for the first time, it doesn't include any Muslim members
