Congress constitutes war rooms, publicity committee for ensuing Lok Sabha polls
Saturday, 6 January 2024 Congress forms Central War Room for Lok Sabha elections with organisational and communication war rooms. Sasikanth Senthil S heads the organisational war room, while Vaibhav Walia is the Chairman of the Communication War Room. The party appoints Gokul Butail, Naveen Sharma, Varun Santhosh, and Capt. Arvind Kumar as vice-chairmen. The logo and slogan for the 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra' led by Rahul Gandhi were unveiled by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Jairam Ramesh, and KC Venugopal at the All India Congress Committee headquarters in Delhi.

On April 28, the Election Commission of India (ECI) directed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to revise the content of its Lok Sabha campaign song to adhere to the Advertising Codes outlined in the Cable Television Network Rules, 1994, and ECI guidelines. The AAP was requested to make necessary modifications to the song and resubmit it for certification. “The phrase “jail ke jawaab me hum vote denge” showing an aggressive mob holding the photo of Arvind Kejriwal showing him behind bars, casts aspersions on the Judiciary. Further, the said phrase appears several times in the advertisement which contravenes the provisions of ECI Guidelines and Rule 6(1(g) of Programme and Advertising Codes prescribed under the Cable Television Network Rules, 1994” (DISPLAY) said ECI.
