Madras HC asks man to pay Rs 50 lakh for trolling trans person on YouTube

The Madras High Court orders YouTuber Joe Micheal Praveen to pay Rs 50 lakh as compensation to Apsara Reddy, a transgender celebrity and AIADMK spokesperson, for uploading defamatory videos. Google is not penalized because it removed the content and Apsara did not press charges. The court warns Google to prevent malicious content in the future.
