Upset about not having daughter, man kills newborn son in MP

A man in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district allegedly killed his newborn son while intoxicated. The motive behind the crime was his disappointment at not having a daughter. The incident took place in Bajjarwada village, and the accused has been arrested. The baby had visible strangulation marks on his neck. The accused confessed to hoping for a daughter as he already had two sons.
