IndiGo fined Rs 1.2 crore and Mumbai airport, Rs 90 lakh for security violation

IndiGo has been fined a record-breaking amount of one crore and twenty thousand rupees by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) for violating aviation security norms at Mumbai airport. MIAL, the Mumbai International Airport Ltd, has also been fined Rs 60 lakh by BCAS.
