‘No merit’: SC nixes plea of Bilkis case convicts

Supreme Court refuses to extend deadline for convicts in Bilkis Bano gang-rape and murder case to surrender and go back to jail. Convicts cited medical problems and family responsibilities as reasons for extension, but court finds no merit in their arguments.
