Paytm Payments Bank barred from selling fresh FASTags

IndiaTimes Thursday, 25 January 2024
Indian Highways Management Company (IHMCL), the arm of NHAI, has barred Paytm Payments Bank from issuing fresh FASTags and taking up new toll plazas due to non-compliance. IHMCL seeks a response from the bank on why it should not be penalized. The decision won't affect existing FASTag customers. Other entities may face similar action in the future.
