Court quashes Visva-Bharati's eviction order against Amartya Sen

A Birbhum court has overturned Visva-Bharati University's order for Nobel laureate Amartya Sen to vacate a portion of land at his ancestral home in Santiniketan. The court deemed the university's order, claiming illegal occupation, as violating principles of natural justice. The university has not yet indicated if it will challenge the court's decision.
