AIIMS develops cost-effective wound healing device with combination therapy of negative pressure and oxygen delivery. Successful trials done on 100 patients at AIIMS trauma centre. Device reduces infection, removes exudate, reduces edema, increases vascularity, promotes wound contraction, healthy tissue formation, and decreases healing time to 7-10 days.
