Claims Centre not releasing funds to some states 'politically-vitiated narrative', says Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman assured that no finance minister can stop the payment to any state based on personal preference. She highlighted that the central government works according to the recommendations of the Finance Commission, making it impossible for any discrimination against states. Sitharaman dismissed allegations of the Centre withholding funds from non-BJP governed states as a politically-vitiated narrative.
