Armed forces line up Rs 25,000 crore to boost defence space capabilities: CDS General Chauhan

Indian armed forces allocate Rs 25,000 crore for defence space requirements including surveillance satellites, secure communications networks. Chief of defence staff urges Indian private space sector to partner in developing multi-sensor satellites, launch-on-demand services, and ground stations. Emphasis on building indigenous positioning, navigation, and timing services. He said high speed, secure, satellite-assisted communication was another area of growth.
