Standard 10 minority dropout rate: 14.5% to 24.4% in a year

In Rajya Saha, the government said that the dropout rate among minority community students at the secondary level (Class X) had shot up to 24.4% in 2021-22 from 14.5% in 2020-21, as per data. No dropouts in Ladakh. In Delhi, Tripura, and Telangana, the dropout rate declined. Detailed data on dropout rates among minorities in these states is not provided.
