Gujarat leads in residential solar rooftop installations, with subsidies for systems ranging from 1 kw to 10 kw. Under the 'Pradhan Mantri Suryoday Yojana', one crore households will receive rooftop solar electrification systems with direct subsidies to their bank accounts.
