Centre links crop diversification to MSP, offers new proposals to farmers

The fourth round of talks between the Centre and farmers ended inconclusively. Both sides deliberated on out-of-the-box solutions to benefit farmers, consumers, and the economy. Concerns were raised about the decline in water tables due to paddy cultivation. The farm unions have sought time until Monday to discuss the proposal with their supporters.
