Young lives at risk: Assam's HIV crisis hits productive age group

Health screening camps in Assam's Tinsukia and Cachar districts have identified around 100 new HIV cases among drug users and the general population below 40 years. Cases of hepatitis B, C, syphilis, and TB were also detected. The newly detected patients have been connected with antiretroviral therapy (ART) centres.
