BSP leader shot dead by 'boy' in Chhatarpur

BSP leader Mahendra Kumar Gupta was shot dead at a wedding in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The shooter, described as a young boy, shot Gupta at point-blank range. Gupta, who finished third with 10,443 votes in the 2023 assembly polls for the Bijawar seat, was the BSP Chhatarpur district vice-president and a former sarpanch.
