Even my borewells are dry, says DKS as Bengaluru reels under water crisis

Over 3,000 borewells in Bengaluru, including one at the residence of Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar, have dried up due to depleted groundwater table caused by poor monsoon and dry spell. CM Siddaramaiah's office faced water scarcity, while RWAs introduced rationing and bans. State government plans to use milk tankers from Karnataka Milk Federation and compensate borewell owners.
