400 fined Rs 20 lakh for using water to wash vehicles, gardening

A man in Bengaluru fined Rs 5,000 by BWSSB for washing his scooter with Cauvery river water on Ugadi, violating the ban on using potable water. 407 people fined for similar misuse.
