Coal India reports 26% growth in Q4 net profit, surpassing estimates

Coal India Limited reported a robust 26% YoY growth in Q4 FY24 net profit, reaching Rs 8,682 crore, despite a 2% decline in revenue. The company announced a final dividend of Rs 5 per share. Operational highlights include increased coal production and offtake. However, sequential net profit declined by 14%. Shares closed 0.51% lower at Rs 452.
