'Can't allow misuse of court to kill unwanted child': HC rejects MTP plea

The Madhya Pradesh high court has declined to allow medical termination of pregnancy for a juvenile girl who was allegedly raped by her brother-in-law, after she and her mother testified in court that they would strive to save the accused during the trial. Nobody can be allowed to play hide and seek to commit murder of an unborn child, Justice G S Ahluwalia said in his April 22 order.
