Motorola Moto X Force gets heavy discount on Amazon India, available starting Rs 15,999

With just 10 days for the GST to be effective, e-commerce platforms are trying to clear their inventories of smartphones, which have been greatly impacted under the new centralized tax system. With GST in place, the tax on smartphones will come down to 12 percent, as opposed to that of 13.5 percent earlier. Which means, smartphones will now be a bit cheaper than they are right now. And in order to fall in line with the new tax system, along with many other offline brands and stores, e-commerce platforms like Flipkart, Amazon India and Paytm are also holding some hefty sales.
