French riots spread in third night of unrest over police shooting

Riots continue to spread across major cities in France for the third consecutive night following the deadly police shooting of a teenager of Algerian and Moroccan descent. Despite the deployment of 40,000 police officers, the government's appeals to de-escalate the violence have had little effect. Protesters are torching cars, barricading streets, and clashing with police in various locations.
