On Friday night, Morocco experienced an uncommon and intense earthquake, causing residents to hastily evacuate their homes and navigate through darkened streets. This seismic event also resulted in the collapse of buildings in mountainous villages and historic cities that were ill-prepared to withstand such a powerful force.
