Thousands of police officers and staff from Greater Manchester Police have had their personal details hacked in a ransomware attack. The stolen information includes names, photos, and identity numbers. The attack is being treated as a serious crime, and the National Crime Agency is leading the investigation. This is the second cyberattack on a major British police force in less than a month, following a similar incident involving London's Metropolitan Police.
