US agency warns of extremist attacks ahead of 2024 election

The US Department of Homeland Security has warned that the threat of domestic extremism remains high ahead of the 2024 elections. Despite the prosecution and imprisonment of individuals involved in the January 6th Capitol assault, the DHS states that violence from radicalized extremists in the United States is expected to remain a significant concern.
