US homeland security chief says Biden administration has no new border wall policy
Thursday, 5 October 2023 U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on Thursday that the Biden administration has no new policy regarding border wall construction following reports it will add sections to a wall to stave off record migrant crossings from Mexico.
There's been a huge development in the crisis at the U.S. southern border. After immediately shutting down the border wall construction when President Biden took office, the Biden administration has now reversed course and approved building a border wall in part of Texas.
