Further evidence points to footprints in New Mexico being the oldest sign of humans in Americas

New research suggests that fossil human footprints found in New Mexico are the oldest evidence of human presence in the Americas. The footprints, discovered at White Sands National Park, date back to between 21,000 and 23,000 years ago. The study used different materials found at the site, including pollen and quartz grains, to confirm the age of the footprints.
