EU Mediterranean ministers call for more migrant repatriations and increased resources

Migration and interior ministers from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, and Spain have praised a new EU pact on migration but have called for more resources. The ministers, known as the Med 5 group, took a tough stance on returning migrants who enter the bloc illegally, warning that extreme voices could gain influence if the issue is not addressed decisively.
