Rushdie to write memoir about 2022 knife attack

Novelist Salman Rushdie will write a memoir titled "Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder" about the attack he experienced at a public event in New York last year. Rushdie, known for his advocacy of free speech, was stabbed multiple times on stage before being rescued by the audience.
